We're excited to have Harold Lovell as the judge of this year's "View from Woodall" Juried Art Competition.

H.R. is an accomplished artist who's created a fantastic body of work while maintaining a very grounded sense of self and a keen interest in supporting and encouraging artists across media and genre -- we are beyond thankful to have his participation in this year's event.

The submission window is now open for artists from Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

Accepted will be submissions in the following categories:

1. Painting

2. Drawing

3. Photography

4. Digital Art

The following placements will be awarded in each category:

First Place - $100 and publication in "The View from Woodall"

Second Place - $50 and publication in "The View from Woodall"

Third Place - publication within "The View from Woodall"

An overall winner will be selected, winning an additional $100 as well as cover placement on the 2022 issue of "The View from Woodall."

Entry Deadline: January 9, 2022

Winners announced: January 28, 2022

Entrants should submit digital images of work (with a size of at least 1000 pixels on longest edge) via email to [email protected] along with artist name, bio, title of work (if applicable), medium, and artist contact information. Emails should be sent with subject line: View from Woodall 2022.

An entry fee of $10 is required for each submission, and submissions are capped at no more than three per artist. Entry fees may be paid via PayPal to [email protected]
