"The Red Chair"
"The Red Chair"
Another one of the yard chairs my Aunt Lilian used to sit in to do things around the house. From peeling apples to snapping beans, this chair was used almost daily, and usually in the shade. A lady once interested in buying the original painting said " If the chair in the painting was blue I would buy the painting." I promptly told her " that if the chair had been blue....I would have painted it blue....but it was red so that's the way I painted it." Needless to say she didn't buy it.
