"Sunset At Osbornes"
"Sunset At Osbornes"
This old Sycamore tree stood right off HWY 70 which runs through Cheatham County. It was part of the Osborne farm. The old log barn in the background was once a stage coach depot on the road to Charlotte, Tn. This road was used by early settlers, among them Andrew Jackson. I almost got ran over by traffic while sketching and taking photos standing in the middle of the road. As the sun set, you had a window of about four minutes to catch the light as the sun ran right up the tree lighting it up.
