"Mr. Ed"

This is a long time family friend, Mr. Ed Gibbs. The Gibbs and Lovell families have been friends for years and go back to the early settler days in Cheatham County. My dad and Mr. Ed were long time farmers and consulted each other often on cows and other farm related items. They were also the founders of the River Road Utiliy District which started in 1965 supplying water to part of rural Cheatham County. The setting for this painting was on part of Mr. Ed's farm in the river bottom next to the Cumberland River.
